Ryan White Program Subrecipient Forums
Ryan White Program Subrecipient Forums are Quality Improvement-focused trainings facilitated by Miami-Dade County Office of Management and Budget Grants Coordination/Ryan White Program and Behavioral Science Research Corporation.
Ryan White Part/MAI-funded subrecipient’s senior level staff members – Executive Directors and/or Program Directors/Coordinators – are expected to attend Subrecipient Forums. Specifically, decision-makers at the organization who are responsible for ensuring service quality and compliance with program and contractual requirements. Attendees are expected to disseminate the information to program management and staff at their respective agencies.
The goals of Subrecipient Forums are to:
- Sharpen the Quality Improvement (QI) focus of Ryan White Program subrecipients, contributing to the development of a QI culture;
- Familiarize subrecipients with the concepts and tools of the Method for Improvement;
- Encourage dialogue on the impact of QI initiatives on subrecipient provision of care; and
- Facilitate additional QI intervention activities.
Subrecipients will be introduced to the language of PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act), Ishikawa (“fishbone”) root cause analysis, Pareto charts, process mapping, control charting, and QI data feedback.
