What We Do
In May of 2012, the Miami-Dade HIV/AIDS
Partnership (the Partnership) authorized the Prevention Committee to
establish a workgroup for up to one year that will report to the
Prevention Committee, to identify the transgender community’s needs
and related issues.
Upon the workgroup’s first year
commencement, the Partnership extended the term of the Transgender
Workgroup for an additional year in order to monitor utilization of
the existing drop-in center and identify needs for additional
transgender resources.
