Through the Miami-Dade County 2012-2015 Comprehensive Plan for HIV/AIDS, the Partnership seeks to address and monitor key areas of concern for People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), including eliminating barriers to service, raising the quality of care and treatment services, increasing access to resources and tracking legislative and regulatory changes that impact clients and the service system.
The Plan reflects the Partnership′s commitment to evidence-based planning and service delivery. It is a compilation of information and data gathered over the period of 2010 and 2011, including analysis of annual needs assessment and consumer survey data, and focus group, community forum and Partnership committee input. The Plan also updates previously published HIV/AIDS trend data and service system information.
Monitoring the Plan′s activities is the responsibility
of the Strategic Planning Committee. Anyone interested in this work is strongly
encouraged to join the committee.
