Ryan White Program
(Part A/MAI)

Ryan White Program Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) services are available to individuals living with HIV or AIDS.

Eligibility

To be eligible for services, you must be:

  1. HIV positive or have AIDS;
  2. Meet financial eligibility requirements; and
  3. Currently live in and be a permanent resident of Miami-Dade County.

Ryan White Program Part A Services (YR29 Priority Ranking):

  1. Medical Case Management, including Treatment Adherence Services
  2. Oral Health Care
  3. Outpatient/Ambulatory Health Services
  4. AIDS Pharmaceutical Assistance
  5. Health Insurance Premium and Cost Sharing For Low-Income Individuals
  6. Mental Health Services
  7. Food Bank
  8. Substance Abuse Outpatient Care
  9. Outreach Services
  10. Medical Transportation
  11. Substance Abuse Services (Residential)
  12. Emergency Financial Assistance
  13. Other Professional Services (Legal Services and Permanency Planning)

AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is a statewide, federally funded prescription medication program for low income people living with HIV.

Eligibility

You may qualify for ADAP if you are HIV positive and:

  1. In need of HIV/AIDS prescriptions;
  2. Have income at 400% or less of the Federal Poverty Level;
  3. Are uninsured or do not have adequate prescription coverage; and
  4. Are not confined to a hospital, nursing home, hospice, or correctional facility.
