The Miami-Dade County Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is the Ryan White Program Part A/ Minority AIDS Initiative Recipient and develops and implements the County’s operating and capital budget to ensure financial resources, department operations and staffing levels are aligned to achieve results driven by policy and customer needs.

Prescription Drug Formularies and Patient Assistant Programs
Ryan White Program Prescription Drug Services
Medications are available to improve the health of persons living with HIV by gaining access to life-sustaining medications.
This service is available to persons ineligible to receive medications under any other source, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, the State AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), private insurance, etc.
Only medications included in the most current Ryan White Program Prescription Drug Formulary can be accessed through the Ryan White Program.

Access, Care, and Engagement Technical Assistance (ACE TA) Center
The ACE TA Center builds the capacity of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) community to navigate the changing health care landscape and help people with HIV to access and use their health coverage to improve health outcomes. Many RWHAP clients are eligible for health coverage options, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace plans. The ACE TA Center provides practical tools and resources to support engagement, education, enrollment, and renewal activities.
Upcoming Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibility Webinar Series: The ACE TA Center will host three webinars covering Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid dual eligibility for RWHAP clients. The webinars will feature our core Medicare and dual eligibility content delivered in previous ACE webinars, as well as new and updated information. They are intended for HIV program staff who enroll and help clients access coverage through Medicare and Medicaid.
