Our members are appointed by the Mayor of Miami-Dade County to make decisions that improve the lives of more than 8,000 people served by the Ryan White Program in Miami-Dade County.  Your participation matters!

Responsibilities and Activities  

• The Community Coalition meets monthly for dinner or lunch – get to know Partnership members!
• Collaborates and coordinates with other Partnership standing committees, subcommittees and ad hoc committees to ensure that decisions represent the needs of the affected HIV/AIDS communities in Miami-Dade County.
• Develops and establish programs for recruitment and training of Partnership and community members.
• Recruits potential Partnership and committee members from the community and encourage others from the affected HIV/AIDS communities to become more involved in Partnership activities.
• Maintains an open nominations process, review applications, and make nominations for Partnership membership.
• Completes community outreach initiatives and bring back input from community based organizations and other groups to the Partnership.
• Develops and implements education and outreach opportunities for the community to learn more about the Partnership and its activities.
