The Ryan White Program
The Ryan White Program (RWP) provides medical care to people with HIV. For questions about program limitations and eligibility, speak to your Ryan White Program Medical Case Manager. Click here for RWP Medical Case Managers.
- The Ryan White Program Prescription Drugs service includes the provision of medication and related supplies prescribed or ordered by a Physician or other licensed medical practitioner to prolong life, improve health, or prevent deterioration of health for people with HIV who are ineligible for Medicaid, Medicare Part D, ADAP, or other public sector funding, or have private insurance with limited or no prescription drug coverage.
- Supplies are limited to consumable medical supplies necessary for the administration of prescribed medication.
The AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP)
Florida ADAP* is a statewide, federally funded prescription medication program for low-income people living with HIV. This program provides medications to uninsured or underinsured individuals living with HIV. Services are provided through the distribution of medication directly to eligible clients or by purchase of health insurance that includes coverage for HIV/AIDS medications.
ADAP can help if you are HIV positive and:
- Need HIV/AIDS prescriptions
- Have income at 400% or less of the Federal Poverty Level
- Are uninsured or do not have adequate prescription coverage
- Are not confined to a hospital, nursing home, hospice, or correctional facility
